Guest guest
--- Received from NSWP.8939129 0292192200 12/05/00 04:24 -> 911consoleegroups A while ago a workmate took one of those horrific phone calls from a parent trying to revive their toddler who fell in the family pool and drowned. The call was such that my workmate terminated the remainer of that shift and took another 3 days off. During these 3 days off, he had some sessions with the police psychologist before returning back to work. He has recently found out that he will not be paid for those 3 days off because he did not have a note from a medical doctor. It seems that talking to counsellors and seeing the police psychologist about a tramatic work related incident is not enough reason to have a few days off without a doctor's medical excuse. It seems to me that he got a rotten deal. Chuck Sydney, Australia
