Hi all.  First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone for all of your love

and support.  I made Terry's appointment to see his GI doctor today.  I had

talked to the doctor and asked whether we should make and appointment or just

come on in to the ER once Terry is ready.  He told me to go ahead and make the

appointment and, if he got too sick before that, just to come on in to the ER

and tell them to contact him.  The appointment is for Jan. 6.  Our family

gathering is Dec. 28, but of course you have the New Year holiday in there too. 

So, I'm very happy with our arrangements.  If he is able, he will remain out of

the hospital and attend our family Christmas gathering on Dec. 28.  Then, we'll

shoot for the appointment on Jan. 6 and if he gets too sick before that, we'll

just go straight into the ER and our doctor will be there, whatever time it is

or whenever we come in.  He assured me he would be in town for the whole holiday

season and

would be available if we needed to come into the ER.  I got a call from the ER

Nurse Manager today saying that the doctor had already called and left

instructions about what to do if we come in and to page him immediately.  She

advised me to call ahead if we were coming in and the doctor could be paged and

meet us at the ER as soon as we arrive.  I am so thankful for our doctor!  He

has put my mind at ease and has  gone out of his way to make arrangements for us

that will accomodate our needs, not his leisure or comfort.  That's a rariety in

these days.  I will keep you all posted if anything changes.
