Guest guest
My son came home yesterday with a rash on his neck and abdomen. I thought is was the shirt irritating his skin, however he came home from school today and this rash has spread from his abdomen down his legs with the worst of the area being between his thighs. He also is starting to get a " roadmap " looking rash on his cheeks, but it is not as noticeable as the rash on the rest of his body. He has been having terrible reflux and burping up chunks of food. He is also scripting non-stop and and talking to imaginary people. I am concerned about strep (he had strep in the beginning of October). He does not have a fever nor is he complaining of a sore throat, although it does look a little red (but that could be from the reflux). Does anyone have any clue what this could be? Thanks for the help.
Guest guest
What does the rash look like? Are there bumps, or just redness? --penumbra > school today and this rash has spread from his abdomen down his legs > with the worst of the area being between his thighs. Guest guest
It's a red rash with tiny red raised dots. The skin is not scaley but bumpy and red in color. > > school today and this rash has spread from his abdomen down his legs > > with the worst of the area being between his thighs. Guest guest
Does the rash closely match any of the photos at this link? http://www.visualdxhealth.com/child/rubeolaMeasles-whosAtRisk.htm --penumbra > It's a red rash with tiny red raised dots.
