He has got gains in other areas, but still his physical stimming is badly affecting his daily activities. He fists his hands and clenching them to his cheeks. When he does this , he cant hear any thing other than stimming. He was on Diflucan for 3 months. could this be a yeast effect? Any advise on this pls... Thanks Kumar Download free emoticons today! Guest guest
the two things that make my son stimmy are yeast/fungus and measles. After tackling measles with High Dose Vitamin A protocol, we barely had any stimming. Does your child have high titers for measles? Have you tried vitamin A protocol yet? karen > > > Hi there > > Our little son ( 4 and a half years ) has been on bio med for 18 months now. > > He has got gains in other areas, but still his physical stimming is badly affecting his daily activities. Guest guest
Hi , We just did the 2 day high dose vitamin A protocol. We have not seen any difference in behavior and our son is extremely stimmy as well. How long did you do the vitamin A protocol and when did you notice a difference? Thank you. Guest guest
In all honesty, it took a couple months before the stimming had reduced to almost nothing. It was amazing how well it worked...it just takes a lot of time to recover from measles. Be patient...it's a slow recovery and the vision system needs time to recoup. karen > > > > > > Hi there > > > > Our little son ( 4 and a half years ) has been on bio med for 18 > months now. > > > > He has got gains in other areas, but still his physical stimming is > badly affecting his daily activities. Guest guest
, Our son regressed after the mmr vaccine so we've always believed the measles are an issue for him. When you say you did the high dose vitamin A protocol for a month, what form of vitamin A did you use? Where did you get it? How much did you use a day? Thanks! Guest guest
Hi All, I'm jumping in a bit late to this conversation but I noticed the question " is he high on his measles titers? " My son just got his titer results back for the measles and rubella. Our DAN doctor said that in his entire practice he's only had four or five other children with as high of titers as our son. What does this mean? Does this mean he has the measles virus going on? Our DAN wants us to do anti virals before we start on Vit A. Can you tell me why? I didn't get a chance to ask him but now I'm curious. Our son has a lot of OCD type behaviors. Is this related to measles? Somewhere I remember reading this. Any thoughts about this would be helpful. Thanks. Guest guest
OCD tends to be strep related, but measels can live in the gut and brain and those are kids (with high tighters) that regressed with MMR vaccination, it eats up the vit A in the body leaving our kids low thus why there immune systems further deterorate, to stop it they NEED vit A Recovering from Autism is a marathonNOT a sprint, but FULLY possible!Read more about it on my BLOGs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelkinghttp://foggyrock.com/MyPage/recoveringwisheshttp://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=677063169 Re: Stimming - bit frustrated Hi All,I'm jumping in a bit late to this conversation but I noticed thequestion "is he high on his measles titers?" Guest guest
Hi Please help me out here because I am really all new with Vit A protocol. My 5 1/2 ASD son does a lot of hands flapping and the silent clapping(when his hands did not touch) When people talking about 5 drops ,do they mean single drop ? I am so sorry if I sound dumb but I really don't want to give him too much. I got my from Kirkmam and I lost the dose instruction. I don't want to make the mistake between drop and dropper. Thanks so much for helping MerrySent via BlackBerry from T-MobileFrom: "Christel King" Date: Fri, 5 Dec 2008 23:48:35 -0500To: <mb12 valtrex >Subject: Re: Re: Stimming - bit frustrated OCD tends to be strep related, but measels can live in the gut and brain and those are kids (with high tighters) that regressed with MMR vaccination, it eats up the vit A in the body leaving our kids low thus why there immune systems further deterorate, to stop it they NEED vit A Recovering from Autism is a marathonNOT a sprint, but FULLY possible!Read more about it on my BLOGs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelkinghttp://foggyrock.com/MyPage/recoveringwisheshttp://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=677063169 Re: Stimming - bit frustrated Hi All,I'm jumping in a bit late to this conversation but I noticed thequestion "is he high on his measles titers?" Guest guest
Thank you . I need to ask you all to help me understand our titers results. Our previous DAN told us that our son should never be vaccinated again however he never really appeared concerned and was not for Valtrex. He also never explained the results to us. So I am hoping someone can. Here is how the results from Quest reads: Measles AB (IGG) In Range Out of Range Reference Range 3.46 >/=1.10 Index Value Interpretation: Positive or Immune A positive result indicates that the patient has antibody to Rubeola. It does not differentiate between an active or past infection. The clinical diagnosis must be interpreted with the clinical signs and symptoms of the patient. <=0.90 Negative - No Measles IgG antibody detected. 0.91-1.09 Equivocal - Presence or Absence of Measles IgG antibody cannot be discerned. >=1.10 Positive - Measles IgG antibody detected. > > > > > > > > > Hi there > > > > > > Our little son ( 4 and a half years ) has been on bio med for 18 > > months now. > > > > > > He has got gains in other areas, but still his physical stimming > is > > badly affecting his daily activities.
