Guest guest
dear and all listmates, can you recommend which clinic has more experienced with Autism case? Since we are from abroad, is that possible to have several sessions, and follow up at home? how much will be the machine cost? Highly appreciate any help. Guest guest
My daughter had 20 sessions, some were twice a day. We went to the EEGInstitute in Woodland Hills CA, a pioneer in this therapy. I now rent their equipment and do the therapy at home. I have access to a clinician at any time if questions arise. Guest guest
HelloWe have had about 30+ sessions and have seen slow steady improvements, but not dramatic changes. FYI sometimes for a day or two after session we see suppression release which look like regressive behavior. This mostly happens in sleep realm where our son will be a bit wired in the middle of the night or wake up super early. There are many different versions of neurofeedback. The one we are doing is called LENS - supposedly the fastest (don't know if this is true). We are near San Francisco and refer folks to people nearby.Hope this helps.Dina Tarah, MFT BE WELL!
