Guest guest
Has anyone tried senna leaf tea to treat constipation? Can it be used for 3 years old child? Any side effect?Ju
Guest guest
Yes, senna is a stimulent meant to get things moving along. We use it occasionally no moce than 2-3 times per month. It's best at bedtime. A lot of ASD kids have bowel motility isues. If you have constipation as a chronic condition it might be better to consider alternatives such as Oxypowder at a low dose daily as well as prebiotics and probiotics to allow the digestive system to function better. mb12 valtrex , Ju Njo wrote: > > Has anyone tried senna leaf tea to treat constipation? Guest guest
I've used Senna leaf tea for myself and it definitely works. You need to take it at night before you go to bed and then stay near the bathroom the next morning. Some cramping can occur. You may want to test out a few good sips at night on the child and see how the next morning goes. Like with anything else, take it very slow at first.
