we are interested in totally revamping our current police communication

operator training program. if you have any information on where to turn,

please e-mail me. we average five pco's and one communications supervisor

at each installation and have about 115 positions statewide. we are

call-takers and dispatchers, and tty senders and make ncic updates and do

the validation process. one person does all in most cases (another thing we

are trying desperately to change!) our current training program is lacking

in several areas, and we really want to do better. thanks in advance. djb
