Hi Kimberley,

Just as a guide, Stans son was 28-32lb and he was on 250mg x3 times a

day......meaning a total of 750mg for the whole day. It seems you have

250mg more than what he had back then. My son is 44 pounds and we are

going to build him up to 1000mg for the whole day.

Just one more thing. You need to be on an antifungal as well.Stan's

son was also on Nizoral at 50mg twice a day(total 100mg). We are

going to go on Diflucan at 50mg twice a day (total 100mg) and may

need to increase this to 150mg for the whole day as our son is

44pounds and gets yeast very often.

We started Diflucan and also removed white carbs a couple weeks ago

to prepare for this.

I just hate feeling like I'm experimenting on my kid.

Our is a 500 mg tablet but we cut it in half. She gets one half capsule

three times per day (total 750 mg daily)

She is 52 pounds.

I would call your doc to be sure before starting.

Hey All,

Keep us updated how you go and I will do the same here. This is our

first day and we are on 250mg twice a day, building up to 250mg

three times a day, and we may be going for a total of 1000mg for

each day i.e 250-500-250. Note we are on 100mg Diflucan for the

whole day, everyday for now.Ours are 500mg tablets that we break in

half as well.
