Guest guest
Just email your message to this address like a regular email message. 911consoleegroups If you reply use your email program reply button. Just keep the part of the original message that you are replying about as reference. Be sure that you delete all the advertisement stuff and other VERY informative text about the Console that is tagged at the end of each message (hi, ken!!!). This saves bandwidth for Ken. If your reply changes the subject somewhat so that the subject title doesn't really apply any more, feel free to change it. some will say " was...., now... " . It keeps the conversations flowing. Also, there is at least one list member that is legally blind and uses a voice program to read emails. This member requested that the replys be placed first in the text so he/she doesn't have to wait through the previous message to hear what the reply is. Attachments are automatically deleted so you can't send documents, pictures, and other stuff. Of course, this also keeps us from getting some pretty nasty viruses. *thinking* Oh yeah, Ken asks that we try very, very hard to keep to 911 stuff. Of course, sometimes we veer of course, but as long as it doesn't get too out of hand, he usually doesn't admonish too much. They usually die out themselves. (The messages, not the members. Thought I would clarify. Clarification is sooo important, isn't it? :-)) I guess that about it. Theres more at the 911 console web site about how to communcate. annette hallmark ahallmark@... >hi, >i was wondering, i know i have posted through the web, if i reply to the list >does it get poted or do i need to post things through the web?? >jon goldman >
