Hi ,

Are your sons verbal ? and what kind of sucess you see from Dr.

Peng's treatment. I am yet to receive my herb and just wondering what

I can expect, my 4 year son is kind of non-verbal, means he knows the

things, but does not use for communication.

Yes, all of my kids are verbal. But my 7 year old did not have great conversational skills and only spoke to you if he wanted something or if you asked him something.

Sometimes if I tried to get him to talk he would say just leave me alone, he really hated to have conversations,it was just too hard for him.

Sometimes I know it was because he couldn't find the words he wanted to use because he would say oh whats the word and get very frustrated and give up.

I notice at home and the school reports that he is just coming out with all kinds of stuff.

His speech teacher told me she had a 45 minute session with him the other day and all they did was have conversation.

She said when she first brought him down she asked him about Thanksgiving and figured she would get a little conversation and then move on to the work since that is what usually happens.

She said he was just talking and talking all about Thanksgiving, his family and things he likes to do so she just let him go with it and thats how they spent the session.

She sent a note home to tell me about that and also how good his attention span is.

His teacher said that he is so much more social and has a little "harem on the playground" and she is shocked by the difference in him.

I didn't tell her we were doing any kind of treatment, but she keeps commenting on how he is a different child.

The other day she pulled him aside to make up a spelling test he missed and he got very upset because he was missing math. Which he normally cannot stand, so there has been major differences there.

He has also been much more aware of everything, he doesn't miss a thing and points alot of things out to us and disucsses them and asks questions.

I notice how much calmer and less frustrated he gets about stuff and how much I can reason with him now.

If he can't get something or do something he just accepts it and says okay, its really a big change.

Now, my 6 year old never had any behavioral issues, he has speech issues but not a communication disability like his brother.

He is very verbal and is in a mainstream class and gets speech therapy at school.

He is a typical child other than the speech and being very disorganized at school.

His teacher had been complaining that he is all over the place with his papers not being where they should be,losing stuff , never knowing what he just did with his worksheet and stuff like that.

Last week she mentioned that she couldn't believe how organized and attentive he has been lately.

He does seem better able to concentrate or not get overwhelmed.

My little one is 5 and she has not shown any disabilites but she does have yeast. I had her tested when we did the boys tests and we were using nystatin to treat it, we just stopped the nystatin to do the herbs.

She has terrible sleep issues, she has never slept through the night until the herbs.

I notice the sleep issue for her is much better.

The sleep issues really involved all of them. They could go to sleep at night but then wake up several times a night. Doing that times 3 was wearing me out.

I notice that all of them sleep through the night now and are so much happier in the mornings since they are well rested.

I noticed a big difference when we ran out of the herbs. They woke up so many times the last few nights that I am exhausted.

I haven't seen any huge improvements in the 2 younger ones yet, just slow little steps which is still good in my book, but my 7 year old has had major gains.

I really hope that your son responds well to this treatment. Good luck with it.

I am very happy to know all this..... I am doing bio-medical

treatment for my son since last one year, that to with one of the

famous DAN doctor, but till now, no wow signs at all. I hope may be

this herb protocol will work for us.....

Thanks for sharing. I am waiting for my herbs to arrive also for

myself and younger son. We are going to trial them first.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. This is one of my fears with using Dr. Peng as well. I looked for someone closer, but they use ground herbs and cap them, and I didn't want that. I've been lucky so far with Dr. Peng...he initially sent me 15 bags with the assumption that I give my daughter a bag per day, but that proved to be too strong, so we cut it to one bag for every two days, which is probably what saved me. I called him when I was down to four bags, which equates to 8 days worth, so I was able to get more before I ran out.

I hope things work out well for you because it sounds like you were seeing great things while your children were on the herbs )

I had a telephonic talk with Dr. Peng last Sunday and I am waiting for the herb now. Not sure, how long will it take, but hope I will get soon. I am really excited to try this out. I am doing bio-medical treatment since last one year, we have done all the things that can be done on diet, sometimes on strict SCD and some times on GFCF, but he is on GFCF atleast through out this period, have tried anti-virals, tons of supplements, anti-bacteria stuff, anemia for parasites, two does of anti-biotic as prescribed by my DAN, Valtrex and currently doing DMSA chelation. Till date not seen any big improvement as such, rather his stimming increased drastically after anti-biotic and now a days also always in bad mood and crys most of the time. Before all these intervenations, he used to sit near book for 20/30 mins at a stretch, now does not look at book. I am wondering, what I am doing wrong. He has language

and socialisation issue, but was a happy child before bio-medical treatment, now he is no more a happy child. Dr. Peng asked me to stop all the supplements and other stuffs like chelation and I had also make up my mind to take a break on all these and lets see.... Just got back from Dr. Peng's office for follow up appointment. They packed a totally different herb combination, a lot of stuff in the paper wrap which we have never seen in our past combination. Dr. Peng told me that he is working on my son's brain function and cognition improvement. My sons' anxiety, OCD, stimming and GI problems were solved now, and Dr. Peng asked me what is my next goal for my son, we want to see my son's speech and cognition got better to hopefully same age of level.

I asked him today again about if we should stop supp while drinking his herb. He said it is better to stop supp. A lot of his herb have the same ingrients of these supp, he is afraid of seeing our children overdoesage certain ingredients from both herb and supp.

I was probably calling him while you were there! I called him today

and he answered the phone himself! I found this really funny for some

reason. He's very nice. He asked me to send and email telling him

about Ruby's supps and her behaviours and symptoms. Then he wanted me

to call him for the consult. I told him everything and he is sending

me 15 bags. I am to used one bag for 2 days. I told him that I was

worried about running out and not getting the next batch in time and

reassured me it wouldn't happen, I hope not! I am cutting all of

Ruby's supps and stopping her chelation for this!

He said I can go back to the AC chelation after a month on his stuff

if I want to and just monitor her. My stuff is supposed to be here in

a week. The shipping is crazy expensive. He said they are working on a

concentrated powder form of his herbs so they will be cheaper to send

and we only have to add water to them.

He was very sweet and spent a long time talking to me.
