Guest guest
Makes sense given that moist conditions can cause fungal growth. I know it sounds weird, but I get behaviour issues during the full moon! > > Has anyone noticed that their kids behavior worsens on and around > rainy days??? Guest guest
Matter of fact it is a full moon tonight... now I am not sure if it is the rain or the full moon. Darn those parasites! Can't wait to slay the beasts in my kids. > > > > Has anyone noticed that their kids behavior worsens on and around > > rainy days??? Guest guest
yes we used to have issues all the time with this, we don't anymore, not sure why....we could PREDICT the days it was going to rain by how he behaved. we thought it was the pressure of the change in weather. Guest guest
Christel, Do you have yeast under control? I wonder if the yeast reacts to humidity? I did see a university study showing that counties that had higher precipitation rates also had higher rates of autism. Study was done in Oregon, California and Washington. http://archpedi.highwire.org/cgi/content/abstract/162/11/1026 Does anyone have any information regarding autism rates in dry states like New Mexico or Arizona? > > yes we used to have issues all the time with this, we don't anymore, not sure why....we could PREDICT the days it was going to rain by how he behaved. we thought it was the pressure of the change in weather. > Recovering from Autism is a marathon > NOT a sprint, but FULLY possible! > Read more about it on my BLOGs at > http://www.myspace.com/christelking > http://foggyrock.com/MyPage/recoveringwishes > http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=677063169 > > Behavior changes on rainey days??? > > > Has anyone noticed that their kids behavior worsens on and around > rainy days??? Guest guest
That could be increased mold as well as (or instead of) yeast. Or to do with changes in atmospheric pressures and raised positive charges/ionisation of air. Do you have an air purifier that works on the basis of negative ionisation of air? - this way it offsets the pollution and excessive positive ions that accumulate in the house. we have this one and I absolutely love it, highly recommended. you can use it on low setting for small rooms or full one for bigger living spaces: http://www.heavenfresh.co.uk/catalog/xj2100uv.php or have a look at the wooded one on this page, a negative ioniser with a propolis disperser - propolis is great for fighting mold (and yeast?): http://www.beehealthyfarms.com/HealthCare_GOEMButtons.htm (btw there could be other websites out there with better prices...) A study came out recently showing increased incidence of autism in regions with heavy rainfalls fwiw. They said the rates of autism directly corresponded with the amounts of rain the regions received over years.... Even more interesting last year's study on increased incidence of autism in mothers who experienced heavy storms and hurricanes in Lousianna.
