We've been doing 100mg twice daily per his DAN (he actually prescribed 150mg twice daily, but we could only find the 100mg capsules and thought that it would be better to start lower.) He's been on the Nystatin for a year at least and the Diflucan 6mos. I hope he isn't getting some resistant yeast. Thanks for the info. Guest guest
My neurotypycal 8 yr old daughter was like this. She was impossible to get thru to because she was so childishly silly all the time. We were able to curve the behavior after a while with Threelac. My children were good responders to Threelac....not that it is for everyone.
Guest guest
Does your son eats too much protein? As far as I know and it is our experience, inappropriate laughter other than a sign of yeast, could be definitely a sign of high ammonia, due to not being able to break properly the proteins. Amy Yasko talks about the importance of controlling the ammonia levels in her protocol. Important to reduce protein intake, but you can use things like betaine (that increase the stomach acid), byturate ( Raw butter has it, you can cook proteins with it). You can use Yuca with proteins. Yasko has a RNA Ammonia support that helps to regulate it. I think the OAT test can provide you with some information about the ammonia levels. IN our son case, when we use all these supplements, we controlled the high ammonia and that laughter completely disappeared, plus helped a lot his attention and focus. High ammonia creates like a fog in the brain. In mb12 valtrex , " kbelmquist " wrote: > > My neurotypycal 8 yr old daughter was like this.
