Guest guest
I'm not trying to sound alarmed, but my kid has severe vestibular problems. Does that mean that she could very likely have semi-circular canals meaning that she could have the Mondini effect meaning that she could suffer hearing loss with each major bump on the head? I'm concerned because she falls a lot (vestibular problems you know) and gets big bumps on the head. It never occurred to me to have her checked for semi-circular canals because we are working on therapy for vestibular problems anyway. But is the Mondini effect something that you think needs to be confirmed to take steps to avoid further hearing loss? (Her hearing loss is currently very mild.)
