We have a 4.5 year old ASD son, nonverbal, very hyper, always stimming on something, no social or play skills, bad eye contact yadayada... He has excellent receptive language (able to understand everything. very cuddly and overall happy sweet disposition. He has an identical twin brother who is NT and a baby brother who is almost 1 year old, he adores them and interacts by wrestling with his twin and patting the baby's head. The treatments we have used to date are several supps a day, GF for a year with no change, CF for the same and still is, valtrex/diflucan (noimprovements) , MB12 shots (bacame more hyper), cranialsacral (relaxad after first few days, no longterm improvements) . We have daily ABA, OT and speech. Just minor improvements. I ended all supps except zinc and candex at night and probiotic in the AM. Two Weeks ago I meant with A TCM in San Diego, she said Wyatt has a spleen/ heart imbalance. Gave us a prescription for herbs at a local shop to brew and have Wyatt drink 2x a day. Our big WOW finally came, he is going pee on the toilet. BIG WOW for us, it has only been 2 days with no pullups but I felt like I needed to let everyone on this group in. We have seen no other improvements, as of yet, but are most hopeful. Thanks Rei for opening the door and letting in some light. Will keep you posted on more success....
