>>I

just started Armour 7 days ago. The first day I did 2 grains (dr

orders) and then cut down to 1/4 grain 2 times a day. The last 2 days I

have felt really hungry like low blood sugar but I check and it's not.

And kind of shaky. Is this adrenals? I was feeling a bit less depressed

for a couple of days but not I"m feeling depressed again. And more

tense. I'm so scared I have something really seriously wrong :(<<

The hunger is normal as your metabolism improves. Some people even gain

a little weight as they adjust their meds. The shakiness could be

adrenals or it could just be your body adjusting to the meds. I would

hold this dose for another week before you increase it again. This will

give your body and adrenals a chance to adapt to higher metabolism. I

think all of us have had the feeling we had something seriously wrong.

We do! Hypothyroidism is serious! I almost died from it and many

actually HAVE died form it. So when those docs tell you is is not

serious they are wrong. But the medication is NOT the danger, but it

can make you uncomfortable before you start truly getting well.
