Guest guest
Original topic: " How to get to get his test (upper GI and Cat scan) done in a timely manner....without breaking his neck dragging him in there. By the way...he's just sick of all of the appointments lately. I dont blame him. Barbs suggestion- hold back the sex until he goes. Hummmm....I better not even venture into that subject. Barb, my dearest, how did you rope me into that conversation?hehehe:) Im not even going to go there tonight:) oh well, here I go! Colleens suggestion- a roll of quarters in a sock. Hey, that sounds like a great idea and Im more in the mood to do that at the moment. I think I will vent my frustration in a constructive manner and do my workout instead:) Now I just have to invest in a punching bag! And to Ellen- to answer your question " Is sex, or rather the lack thereof, a part of this whole thing " ? (Barb started this one:)...well, yes it is. But, it is a part of life no matter if you are healthy or not. This is a very touchy subject but one that should not be ignored, especially with health issues that effect our life in such a way. Sex is a very important thing in our life and people have a hard time talking about it. Some are fortunate to have a healthy sexual relationship.....it effects us if we miss out on that. A very important bond in our life. illness and being a caregiver makes it even more so of a challenge. Stress and fatique of the psc'er and stress that the caregiver feels has a big effect on this. But dont despair. Theres always good days and bad for anyone. Really! Sincerely,
