I'm told the antibiotics is part of why i'm here. Do i give it to him or not. He has a fever 102. And feels really bad.. thanks for any advice. I use peroxide 1/2 capful in each ear, its challenging to keep him still but I somehow manage to get it in. Guest guest Posted December 15, 2008 Report Share Posted December 15, 2008 Hi , My son used to have earinfections too, Dr Mercola website is very interesting ,I learnt a lot from it, I used some baking soda (it's anti-fungus) in half a glass of water and cleaned his mouth with cotton to the back (candidas live in the back of the throat ) The probiotics I get from nbnus (VSL) help a lot too. We used zithromax so that there was the least volumeof medicine to consume since it is a 5 day treatment. We do keep plenty of LDM 100 in stock and now use that for every little cold/virus, etc. You cannot put it in the ear, but it may help prevent ear infections if you start it the second you see any cold symptoms. I have definitely saved myself from getting sick using LDM 100-the second I get a sore throat or whatever, I start it and it really helps. When my kids get fevers with a clear bacterial infection we just do the antibiotics and push extra probiotics. Luckily, the naturals help tremendously in prevention.
