Guest guest
Cherie, Simply cleaning up your diet and eliminating sugar will free your body of additional toxins you put into it. Your body needs to work to get rid of the toxins already in it. If you eat poorly, you are adding an additional load. As toxic as you are now, I don't know that I would opt for a fast, it would likely make you very sick. Also, water fasts are much more traumatic for the body, if you choose to do a fast right now, I'd definitely make it a fresh squeezed fruit and vegetable fast along with vegetable broth and lots of water. Guest guest
Cherie, I understand wanting to see your doctor completely, I would too, if I had other good choices. Dr. Leu's consult is a fraction of what Dr. Fuhrman's is. I'd guess $80.00 for an hour but I'd have to check to be certain. His phone is 918 298-9300. He has treated several other implanted women and is familiar with the health problems associated with it. Guest guest
Cherie, At the very least, you need a good detoxing supplement to help clear up your body from the toxins that are making you sick. Your diet will help tremendously by eliminating an additional burden but you need help getting rid of the garbage that is circulating within. Right now, simply eliminating the meds that help you to feel better, probably won't help you to feel better until the toxicity load lessens. Kenda > Kenda - I have eliminated processed foods and use organic > everything. I am still eating a small amount of organic sugar. > Sometimes I feel like there's just nothing to eat - I have > eliminated almost everything. Guest guest
Cherie, I hope you can wean yourself from the medications and address the real problem. Antihistamines only cover up the issue. Chances are your body is trying to get rid of the toxins through your skin. . . As I see it, the thing to do is to encourage your body to release toxins rather than suppress it. There are a lot of inexpensive things you can try before spending money you don't have. It takes a lot discipline and trial and error. Just don't try to do everything at one time, even though you are desperate to get well! Guest guest
Cherie, I feel for you, I remember very well how it feels to be so sick and all you want is to feel better. All at one time, I cleaned up my diet and dropped all of my drugs for fibro -- and I was taking a handful. I had the assistance of an ND so I wasn't going into it blindly. I had no idea what to expect, but with the right supplements, I began to feel slightly better. In time, I realized that I wasn't sick very often at all and finally, my symptoms were completely gone. As long as you are willing to work to regain your health, I am confident that you can, with some help from Dr. Leu, or someone else you choose to treat with. Guest guest
Cherie, Do you have a NetiPot? I used allergy meds for years too, even when I have been " healthy " . Since using my NetiPot for the last 5 months, I haven't taken any at all. Get Neti salt though, don't use regular table or sea salt with it or you'll burn your nose. Guest guest
Hi Sis, I just wanted to let you know that Dr. Leu has treated women from this group before so he won't think a a thing about two of you calling. I asked him a long time ago if he wanted to help implanted or explanted women with their health, even though they wouldn't likely come see him. He said yes. When I was planning on implanting, I didn't tell him initially, knowing what his response would likely be -- what ND is going to say great, that's a good idea! I finally told him and he told me first off, that he was so glad I didn't do it and that he knows implants cause disease and has plenty of women he treats to prove it. He has been very successful with them. Good luck to both of you and your treatments. I'd recommend making a list of things you want to ask him so when you do have your appointment, you don't hang up and think, geez! I should have asked about xyz. Guest guest
Cherie, My skin was always reacting with rashes. My meridian stress test shown that my skin cells weren't releasing their wastes properly. My kinesiologist recommended taking real hot baths, soak as long as I could in that. This opens the pores. Then cut a lemon down the middle and squeeze all over my skin. The lemon breaks up the stuff that is clogging the pores. I hated this at first. The lemon hurt and irritated my skin. My husband had to helpme with the hard to reach areas. Anyway, within one month my meridian stress test showed my skin was functioning normally. I haven't been doing the lemon thing for a while and I have noticed my skin taking on rashes again. I wonder if the toxins from the implant are clogging my pores and causing me to rash up. I almost forgot....sweat! This is part of the process also. The sweating helps to flush out toxins. Guest guest
Hi Sis, You are right, blueberries are very good for you! Dried fruits and vegetables lose most of the their nutrients through the drying process so you're much better off sticking with fresh. Also, when cooking vegetables, it is much better to lightly steam them rather than boil or fry to preserve the enzymes and nutrients. Sorry. Kenda > Hi Cherie - I'm glad you're having a good day. Guest guest
Hi Sis, No, they won't hurt you, you're still getting fiber from the fruit, just not the nutrients you would get if they were fresh. I'm with you, I love summer for all of the fresh organic fruits and vegetables! Kenda > Thanks, Kenda. Well, at the very least I can have them for a snack > and they hopefully won't do any harm.
