Thank you sisters!Note: forwarded message attached. Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Add photos, events, holidays, whatever. Patty, When I heard about breast cancer, I was shocked, but I heard going through reconstruction with saline implants was safe. I have the tissue expander in now, and soon suppose to get implants. When my surgeon asked me what kind of implants, I said saline because I thought they were safe and he said I think silicone would be better. Now I am totally confused and SCARED. The more I read about both, the more scared I get. Some people say now that the silicone implants are safe because the implant is now a silicone gel. I already feel tired with the expander in me, but I thought the tiredness was from the operation. I don't know what to do and would appreciate all you advice and experience. If neither kind of implant is good, what do I do now with a tissue expander inside of me that has a silicone shell and saline inside. I would appreciate your advice.
