Guest guest
hey all, i was wondering is it okay to soak in a tub of very warm water after explant surgery. dr. kolb's instructions don't even mention avoiding hot water and it's another thing i didn't get the chance to ask her.i do remember that after i had implant surgery, the PS said to avoid soaking or showering in hot water because heat promotes swelling. if i keep my chest out of the water maybe it won't be a problem. i wanted to start back on the epsom salt baths and besides soaking in the tub a few times a week is a great stress reliever for me.if it's npt okay, how long should i avoid it? Guest guest
Cosmia, Until your incisions are healed completely, I would keep them out of the water . . . Washing with a cloth is fine, but no soaking, no Espom salts. Hugs, Rogene
