Guest guest
Jenna, if it were between having some permanent puckering or another scar which would you choose, if you could do it again? I am torn on this. I have less tissue then you do and I am so scared of having permanent puckering. > > Hey , just wanted to let you know I added 2 new pics of my 2.5 > month post op pics. Guest guest
Jenna, are you a 34B cup?? You look like a C cup to me but my breasts were more to the side then yours. Did you get my email I sent? HUGS, > > > > > > Hey , just wanted to let you know I added 2 new pics of > my > > 2.5 > > > month post op pics. Guest guest
, Your doctor has several surgical options . . . Donut, lolipop, anchor and one that follows the breast fold. Before being concerned about puckering, I would ask your doctor which incision will be used. Regardless, IMHO, I would rather be completely breastless than to be as sick as I was when I had implants! . . . There is soooo much more to living than having breasts that look good without clothing! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
That is hard to answer. I know if you go with the t scar lift it will eliminate puckering but like you said you will have more scars. Then again, I have seen some pics of women with the t-scar where the scar has almost completely faded away. I think Dr. Kolb will be able to give you her opinion on it. Everyone is different. Also, Kolb told me she can do a revision surgery on me if my puckering is still bad come 4-6 months down the road. I am not sure how she would go about doing it but you could ask her. Maybe you can do the bellini lift then in time if you still have puckering get a revision? Guest guest
Yes I am a 34 B. I think maybe the underwire helps make them look bigger I tried putting on my old C bras and they are way to big. I am going to save them for when I get prego this summer. Ugh..more trama to my breasts! I can't wait! Yes I got your email. I will email you back in a minute. Guest guest
I posted my 6 months pics in Shutterfly yesterday. My scarring is healing really well! I have used pure vitamin E oil on it several times a week and that makes a huge difference in the healing.
Guest guest
, you look so good! Your nipples have hardly any puckering and your scars are getting so light! That is great to hear. I am glad the Vitamin E is helping you. That is all I am using as well. It seems to be the best thing i have tried so far. That maderma and the neosporin scar strips really haven't made a difference. > > I posted my 6 months pics in Shutterfly yesterday. My scarring is > healing really well! Guest guest
I've gathered up my C cup bra's (from my 6 months with implants) and I plan on burning them one of these days!! Guest guest
, I may have missed your post, but I remember a few weeks back you mentioned one breast seemed to have fallen or something like that? Everything ok? Sis > > I posted my 6 months pics in Shutterfly yesterday. My scarring is > healing really well! Guest guest
No, I can't get a revision, I am tapped on money for surgery and I am terrified of needles..the thought of having another IV is just sickening to me. My husband would flip if I had to have one more darn thing done to my breasts after explant. I did notice that pictures of women who used Dr Melmed were very minimal scars, it looked like a different type of insicion as well. have you seen his work? I am torn now because Dr Kolb is a good surgeon but I like the end result of Dr Melmed's work. Guest guest
You look great, infact I was wondering what your cup size is now because you look very close to what I was pre BA. I think you look great, who did your explant? HUGS, michelle > > I posted my 6 months pics in Shutterfly yesterday. My scarring is > healing really well! Guest guest
I had mine done with Dr. Feng. I am now a 36 B : ) but of course that depends on who makes the bra... they are not all the same.
Guest guest
Dr.M is a wonderful doc as well. Follow your heart. I think the ultimate goal is to feel healthy again. I also read your one post on the other site where you mentioned you just found out that your hubby never liked your implants in the first place. I hope that this will help give you the push to get the surgery over with. I know how important it is to have acceptance from hubby! I must say it felt good to know that my husband hated them as well (i got them before I ever started dating him) This entire ordeal put a huge amount of stress on our relationship and now that I feel better and it is all over with we have been closer now then we ever have! I have a feeling that the same will happen with you and your hubby. , you can go back and forth and listen to everyones story and stress yourself out to the point where you scare yourself out of surgery, you can't keep comparing yourself to other women. This is what I did before surgery and I almost backed out. I even stopped going on these forums for a while because I knew it may sway my decision. Everyone is different and you need to find a good doctor to put your trust in and get this all over with. Just think of how much happier you and your family will be once it is all over and you are back to your healthy and happy self! Think positive!!! I know it is hard but I honestly think everything happens for a reason...your body is telling you something is wrong. Listen to it. Look forward to speaking with you this weekend! HUGS HUGS HUGS!
