Guest guest
Cosima, I suspect there was silicone in your bandages! . . . The idea of the sports bra is to provide gentle support without cutting into your tissues. If you feel it's cutting, you'll need to find a more comfortable sports bra. I suspect the idea behind binding tightly is to keep any fluids from accumulating after the drains were removed. . . Dr. Kolb may have a reason for telling you to wear the binding longer. I don't think everyone does. Neverthe less, I would take her advice. She's the best judge of how far along your healing has progressed. The last thing you want is to have fluid accumulate and cause a lot of pain or further surgery! I know this is all a nusiance . . . but it will pass soon and you'll be on your way back to health! Just be good to yourself and know that whatever discomfort you feel now, it's just temporary. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
