Guest guest
so when you are doing the antifungals they are solid or ALWAYS SOLID? sweet poop can also mean not digesting sugars...lack of the enzyme for it, urine smelling sweet can also be a sign of kenosis or maple syrup disease....with yeast stools are usually loose, yellow, fluffy, snotty, or constipated Recovering from Autism is a marathonNOT a sprint, but FULLY possible!Read more about it on my BLOGs athttp://www.myspace.com/christelkinghttp://foggyrock.com/MyPage/recoveringwisheshttp://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=677063169 best natural protocol for fighting yeast? My son is fighting candida, seems to be a battle. Been on diflucan... then nystatin over the past year off and on. For us, the symptoms seem to be a sweet (bad sweet, sorry to be graphic, like sweet and solid, however, poop is formed normal) smelling poop and verbal stims. First Q: do these symptoms sound like yeast to other experienced parents? If not, any suggestions....Second Q: Instead of calling in another Rx, I would like to continuously maintain it. Ive heard some parents using grapefruit seed extract... but how much and how often for a 6 yr old? And, Is there anything else I can add or use other than this? Also, is there a maximum amount of time I can use this safely?thanks!dd No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG - http://www.avg.com Version: 8.0.176 / Virus Database: 270.9.19/1853 - Release Date: 12/17/2008 8:31 AM
Guest guest
We've been going through something quite similar with the sweet rotten smelling poops and increased verbal stims. For my son, I think it's actually bacterial. We originally started treating him for yeast and saw a lot of die-off, but the sweet smell didn't go away, nor did the verbal stims and irritable behaviour. Not until we added OoO (oil of oregano) which can address BOTH yeast and bacteria, did we finally see some improvement. My son is 45 lbs and he currently gets 4 drops of OoO once a day, but we are going to be increasing it to 4 drops twice a day soon, as we still haven't completely kicked this thing. The OoO is very strong tasting and can burn, so we put the drops into a small empty capsule for him to swallow. Is he on probiotics? If yes, which one and how much? Maybe that could be increased as well. HTH, Sheri > > My son is fighting candida, seems to be a battle. Been on diflucan... > then nystatin over the past year off and on.
