However, when treated with insulin or tablets the bg can get to low. - I have been treated with tablets (against insuline cell resistance) since january 99. This has really brought anything into balance and I had not felt so good for some years - actually as a new person. Now, the reason I am posting this question is that I am starting to experience low bg. Sometimes I wake up in the night and it is as if anything is turning around and I'm slipping away or loosing conciense. And sometimes I feel dizzy. I wondered why, after having experienced such an increase in my wellbeing, I suddenly starts to feel so again. Therefore I have measured my bg at these times and each time my bg is very close to the mmol/l 3 lower border. - I may not be in the dangerzone, but I don't feel well ... >> , you need to keep adjusting your medications! The whole reason we test our blood glucose is to adjust our diet/medications to maintain an even keel. If you drop low, cut back a little on your insulin/pills. Just keep testing and adjusting. And it is REALLY important to keep a journal at first, until you get to know your reactions. Write down your test results, and what it was you ate and how much of which insulins/pills you used that produced those results. And quit eating that junk food, you naughty monkey!!! hahahahahaha Susie
Guest guest
Elaine, I suspect Jillian to be hypoglycemic(low blood sugar), but my ped tells me I am wrong. It's just another one of those things I sense as her mommy. Foley
