Guest guest
We thought our home might be partly responsible for my son's massive yeast problem. But, when we traveled, we didn't see any improvements. It's possible that there is something in the bedding (pillow or feathertick), molds, or other allergens in the home. You might also want to look at your laundry detergent. --penumbra > > FYI, we were on vacation recently and both got a cold. Guest guest
We started treating our youngest for yeast when she was 15 months old. At that time we introduced infant probiotics (Klaire makes a great infant one that is GFCF) and biotin together with magnesium. How much biotin are you using for her, and how much does she weigh? Also, based on some of the symptoms you list, I wonder if she may be reacting to some foods in her diet. Even though they are SCD, she may still have IgG issues with them. Would you consider running an IgG (and maybe IgE as well) food panel on her? The formula might be a problem too - hard to say. Is she dairy free too, along with the SCD (other than the formula)? If not, maybe try pulling dairy (and soy). My daughter couldn't tolerate the hydrolyzed protein formulas. We had to go to Neocate, which is very expensive, but I honestly think it saved her. She has identical biological issues to her older brother with ASD, some even worse than his, but doesn't show ASD symptoms (she is 2 now). Our doctors call her " near miss ASD " . She is still on Neocate as her gut is quite bad and she cannot tolerate much food.
