question about fear of cars

I was wondering if any of you have this problems with your kids. When

leaving some place, like an appt, or restaurant, when going to the car.

KK is pulling to get there faster, but at the same time, acting like she

doesn't want to get in. Then when we get to the door I can't open it

fast enough for her. She is jumping and squirming, and almost crying,

acting panicy. Then when I open the car door, she hurrys up as fast as

she can, to get in. Still acting panicy, like someone is after her. My

first thoughts were, maybe someone I can't see is playing with her, or

yet chasing her! (no I'm not crazy, she some times acts as tho there is

someone else there, when I see no one. I know it's strange) But one

time, there was a car coming.....and she got worse! I don't know what's

going on with her. Is she scared of cars? Yesterday my mom, a friend

and KK and me, did the girls day out. Well as KK and I were coming out

of the house, my mom honked her horn and KK went crazy! We were just

passing my car when my mom did that, and KK ran around to the other side

of my car trying really hard to get in, even tho the door was closed. I

don't know what to do. Should I tell the doc.? All day yesterday, when

ever we were going back to the car(and i noticed she has been having me

do this for about a week now) but she'll ask to be picked up. And KK

doesn't take walking for granted. Now that she can walk, she doesn't

want a stroller. So for her to ask to be picked up, there must be

something wrong.

Help....
