Success with Valtrex with a Bad Gut?

Just started Valtrex today. Read old Stan Kurtz posts about his son,

but could not find if he had a bad/very leaky gut like my child has.

Has anyone had success treating with Valtrex with a child who has a

very bad/leaky gut and absorption issues? Will Valtrex even be

absorbed to be useful into the system? What is the difference between

an allergic reaction to Valtrex and a healing regression? Thank you.
