Guest guest
Good afternoon, I have noticed something. When I use my laptop computer with the wireless internet, my leg pain increases. Does anyone else notice a change? I think I read something in Trudeau's book about cellular frequency causing negative effects on some people. Just Curious, Photos Got holiday prints? Guest guest
EMF follows what is known as an inverse square law. This means that the strength of the field decreases with the square of the distance from its source. So, the field's strength at 2 feet should be a quarter of what it is at 1 foot, and at 3 feet should be a ninth (and so on). Depending on how strong the field is, you might consider moving further away from the router where its effects are less intense. If you computer is right next to your wireless router, you might also consider using a wired ethernet port as most wireless routers still provide an actual ethernet port, and I'd assume that most computers these days actually have them. That said, if you're really that sensitive to EMF, you should also probably avoid cordless and cellular phones (particularly the former as a number of cordless phones use the same frequency as wireless routers). Good luck! Colin > > I did a search on here and onibasu and couldn't find anything on this > but I am wondering how wifi works. If I am not in front of my computer > am I still affected by it? Maybe this is a figment of my imagination though. >
