Guest guest
OH no, please don't think I was referring to any specific emails. I have just noticed that there are several women who, even after years, have problems post explant. And so many of my " symptoms " very well could be stress, yet I know that it could be the implants too. I am worried because this is a huge decision and so many things don't add up, not to mention I just don't trust doctors at all, even the best doctors.I am worried because it seems only dr Kolb can feel me swollen lymph nodes, no other doctor and my ultra sound could find any swollen lymphnodes....and I don't hurt, so what do I believe?? I am just trying to see how long I can wait because my husband is not helping at all and I am still short the money...he had spent some at X-Mas I was unaware of until this week.I don't awnt to offend any one, I respect all of you greatly. I just need more information. > > > > I have seen a lot of things I am starting to wonder about. Guest guest
, no offense taken. Just thought maybe my posts were concerning you. Actually, I figure the only chance I had at getting better was removing the implants, I didn't want to linger for years with them, wondering if it was them making me sick. Now I can focus on taking care of my body - the implants made me absolutely crazy. You're right, it is a huge decision, and I definitely don't trust doctors, either. I'm more apt to trust Dr. Kolb or Dr. Feng than other doctors, though - because at least those doctors acknowledge our struggle and believe we're sick because of imlants. They've seen so many people with the same health problems, and they've also seen so many people get better after they've been removed. Getting well is sometimes a slow process, however judging by the people I've seen posting these past few months, everyone acknowledges an improvement, and those who have been posting for years report that they are better now (unless they had the earlier versions of implants, had leaks, and they weren't removed properly - hope my comment is correct). I've noticed improvements, too - but if I get really stressed or don't eat right, it seems right now the symptoms get worse for a short time. I think that's going to happen until my body has expelled all of the junk that's in it, and that doesn't happen overnight. It was easier for me to have my implants removed, because I hated them so much, and I knew that as long as they stayed in my body, I would wonder if any illness I developed was because of them. Mentally I feel so much better knowing they are gone, even though I'm still not feeling so great. I haven't had one panic attack since I got them out, and during the time I had them I was having panic attacks quite a bit. I am so happy looking in the mirror at my small breasts, I feel like me again, like the person that God created. I didn't get self-esteem from the implants, but I lost so much because of that surgery - I lost the most important thing and that's my health. If I get that back, I will be the wealthiest person on earth. Good luck to you, Sis > > > > > > I have seen a lot of things I am starting to wonder about.
