Guest guest
I have a 6 year old daughter diagnosed with autism. The doctor has prescribed her nystatin for yeast overgrowth in her gut. I read somewhere that nystatin would not be the best anti fungal treatment medication for this problem. Does anyone know if that is true. I asked her DAN! doctor about trying a different medication ,but she insisted the other ones are too powerful. I am also attempting the scd diet and am concerned about the supplements she has recomended for my daughter because they have illegal ingredients. I have asked her to supply me a list of legal supplements, but her response was that these supplements have worked for her other patients. Guest guest
If you've never done any of the others like nizoral or diflucan it may work OK for you. > > I have a 6 year old daughter diagnosed with autism. Guest guest
Nystatin is a good place to start with prescription anti-fungals. We always get our compounded to remove the dye, alcohol, and sugar.
