Hi Ginger!

Yes, I live in Oklahoma, in Sand Springs, just west of Tulsa. We lived in

Tulsa for 15 years and then built a house in the hilly part of Sand Springs.

I'm originally from San Diego. We moved here a couple of months after

getting married. My husband didn't care for San Diego at all, darn it!

Oh Brrrrrrrr . . .

I take it you have power today! . . .

We live on a mountain side (small mountains) . .. with

steep roads! When it snows or ices here, we can't even

get out of our driveway! . . . While our house was

being built, they had their worst snow storm in many

years. . . Power lines and trees down all over the

place. Some places were without power for two weeks. .

.. . That's what makes Arizona look good this time of

year!

I was thrilled to read you enjoyed the party last

night! Life is becoming good again! Good for you!

I can understand you hubby . . .San Diego is

absolutely beautiful with wonderful weather . . . But

there are other drawbacks like traffic, taxes and

immigration problems.

My daughter used to live there too. It broke her heart

to move after their divorce!

I understood too. OK is a better place to raise a family, plus the cost of

living is SO much less. I might have had to continue working after having

kids had we stayed in CA. I'd rather live here and be with my kids than

have the beautiful ocean, desert, mountains and weather.

Hi Ginger,

San Diego was wonderful but OK is a better place for our family. The cost

of living is so high in CA that I probably would have had to continue

working after our kids were born. Nothing is worth giving up being with

them and raising them. Some days a job seems like it would be easier than

dealing with two teens but I wouldn't trade it -- usually!

Hi Ginger,

Mine are 13 and 16 and I believe they still need me at home, instead of at

work. My job won't be finished here until they move way. Maybe then I'll

get a job.
