Guest guest
Hopefully, by then, we'll be in Mesa, AZ . . . We've made arrangements to postpone winter weather until then . . Guest guest
Yep . . . Dance and socialize. . . This is our sixth winter trip there. I have some cousins who live there, plus high school and square dance friends from across the country who winter there. One year the air quality was so bad we had to leave! . .. . Hopefully that will never happen again! They had been without rain for ages and I was still feeling the effects of moving into a new home. We can dance 17 times a week at the challenge level . .. . Too much . . . Two times a day is my limit! There ARE other things in life! Hugs, Rogene --- Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote: > I think I'd trade my snow for Mesa!! Guest guest
Kenda, Do you live in Oklahoma? I lived in Oklahoma for year (middle, junior, high school, college-a little after). I call it home and my parents and in-laws live there, too. I'm from Tulsa and my husband is from OKC area. We met in Norman, so as you can guess, I am a Sooner. We go back often. We live in Bentonville, AR now. Just curious. I always love it when I meet people from OK. Ginger > >>> > >>>> Don't you mean *if* cold weather hits? Guest guest
We had a beautiful couple of days here in NJ, but old man winter suddenly paid a visit to us last night. Power was out all night, luckily we have a gas fireplace. Sis > > Yeah, > > In Arkansas, we have spring plants beginning to leaf > out and bloom . . . Poor little mixed up things! Guest guest
Kenda, I am sure San Diego is wonderful. The weather is great. The good thing about OK is the cost of living. I don't know how people do it in California! I miss Tulsa and " city " life. We are in a booming area because of Wal-mart, JB Hunt and Tyson headquarters, but we still are catching up. Take care, Ginger > >>>>> > >>>>>> Don't you mean *if* cold weather hits? Guest guest
Kenda, I agree 100%! I stay at home with 3-11,7, and 5. They are a handful, but I am glad to be with them!
