Guest guest
Congratulations on your explant!! At the end of the day, mine would get uncomfortable as well - and since mine had clasps in the front I would just undo a couple of them. I don't know if that was a good thing or bad thing, but I figured it was better than having sore incisions. Guest guest
Hi! I did not have a incision underneath in the crease so I can't help you out with that but Dr. Kolb told me fluffing will occur up to 4-6 months. Some ladies here have said even longer. I can tell you this is so true. Mine were flat up top for a while and there were some indentations around my nipple as well as puckering and each month it gets much better. I am over 3 months post now and they are still fluffing so don't get discouraged. It is amazing what your body can do! I am so happy that things turned out so well for you. I was the same way, all of my symptoms got knocked out right away. I just started working out again and I can't even explain to you how good it feels! I can't lift my arms because I am so sore now but it feels great!!! Take care. Guest guest
Thanks for the insight Jenna. I am glad to hear that you are able to work out again and your breasts are looking better and better, that is encouraging to hear. I am so anxious to see how I will look once I am compltely healed. I am already so please with the results, it can only get better from here! So how/when did you buy new bras if you are still filling out? I am looking SO forward to buying new bras. It will be nice to have cute little bras again, and not have to spend a fortune on the expensive ones that look like granny bras. lol. I was amazed that the pain that I was having went away immeditaly after surgery. That was exactly what I was looking for, and the problem has been solved - what a great feeling that is!! Guest guest
Bra shopping....it was SO MUCH FUN! I ended up going to VS because I have heard so many wonderful things about that body by victoria one..they are so comfy. i ended up just buying some durable bras. the basics, black white and beige. Anyhow, i started wearing normal bras again about 4 weeks after surgery and I was fine, but again i didnt have the incisions underneath my breast so you may not be ready to wear any type of underwire for a while. she measured me as a 34B just barely which worked out perfect. they fit but you can tell there is still lots of room incase they fluff up more. They had that annual sale at VS the other week. I finally went and got some sexy ones now that I feel comfy with how they look. Anyhow, it is great to be small again. i even bought bathing suits all ready (i live in OH) because I can't wait to wear them in the summer. it is hard to explain, i thought big boobs would make me feel sexier in a bakini, but being small again makes me feel sexier the ever. probably because i don't have those big toxic bombs weighing me down. my posture is so much better! Anyhow, congrats again, it is nice to hear that someone else had there symptoms dissapear so soon after explant like me! Such an inspiring story and I am sure it will help many sick women make the right decision! take care! > > > > Hi Ladies, > > > > I am still feeling great after my explant almost one week ago; > howeve I > > just had a couple of questions... > > > > I have been wearing my sports bra religously, but it tends to > become > > uncomfortable towards the end of the day (my incisions are at the > > crease) the bottom of the bra rubs on the incisions therefore > making it > > a bit uncomfortable. Guest guest
, That is great to hear that your pain went away immediately after surgery! You are quite lucky to have experienced that. I hope your healing continues at a steady, positive, progressive pace and you can feel great all the time! Hugs, Patty > > Thanks for the insight Jenna. Guest guest
Reading that just gave me goosebumps, lol. I thought for sure when I had my breast implants that I would feel so much more confident and comfortable in my own skin, but boy was I wrong! I was so self concious about them. I remember one evening walking through the frozen section of the grocery store with my boyfriend and him taking his shirt off for me to cover up because my nipples were SO hard you could litteraly see EVERYTHING, the sad thing is I had lost my nipple sensation and had no clue I was giving everyone a peep show. Tell you what I don't miss that one bit! I went outside the other day, and that sensation of getting cold came back, I don't think I have ever been so excited. lol. The sports bras are much more comfortable for me, it is wierd, like overnight my incisions just healed and they aren't bothersome anymore. I am planning on going bra shopping around the 10th of next month - that will have been about 4 weeks. I can not wait!! Jenna <jgalatis@...> wrote: Bra shopping....it was SO MUCH FUN! Guest guest
When I had implants, I noticed when I was cold, the muscles distorted and one would pull to the left, and the other would pull to the right. It was the most horrible feeling. I have no sensation at all right now, so the cold isn't bothering my chest, however I too look forward to the day when I get sensation back again (I know it might never happen). Guest guest
I also noticed witht he implants when it was VERY cold, that my breasts would become very hard feeling. I can't really explain it, but I think I understand what you are saying by them pulling apart, almost like they were trying to hide or something. lol. auntsisnj <auntsisnj@...> wrote: When I had implants, I noticed when I was cold, the muscles distorted and one would pull to the left, and the other would pull to the right. Guest guest
Yeah, it was like the muscle would tighten up and start pulling - and it wasn't even the middle of winter yet - so I can't imagine how it would've been when it got really cold outside. > > > > > > > > Hi Ladies, > > > > > > > > I am still feeling great after my explant almost one week ago; > > > howeve I > > > > just had a couple of questions... > > > > > > > > I have been wearing my sports bra religously, but it tends to > > > become > > > > uncomfortable towards the end of the day (my incisions are at > > the > > > > crease) the bottom of the bra rubs on the incisions therefore > > > making it > > > > a bit uncomfortable. Guest guest
I can't remember who it was - one of the new people who posted (maybe Liz?) within the past few days commented on the fact that their coloring looked odd after they got their implants. I noticed the same thing, within a couple of weeks my skin tone looked funny - like grayish, even though it was summertime.
