Hi not-swollowing-any-steroids girl!

How are you feeling today? Hopefully a bit (- A LOT) better than

yesterday evening. Good for you that you resisted the urge to grab

that bottle of Prednisone yesterday, and also a HBM (Hug By Mail -

just made that one up) for your husband who was pampering you a little

and making you tea when you were in a lot of pain. That's the kind of

support a woman needs!

I already feel that all of us implant victoms can benifit a whole big

bunch from posting and reading the messages on this board. It's great

that we are able to find each other this way and help one another by

sharing experiences and stories.

Cheers,

Audrey

Audrey - thank you so much for your concern. I am still with a lot

of pain, but don't feel as down and headachy as yesterday and the

day before. I have resisted the Predinisone. I do wish I could

take just plain Tylenol or aspirin to help with the pain, but I

can't. My only choice is prescription stuff with codeine, and I

think that is what is making me so emotionally unstable and

headaches and I get the shakes and break out into sweats. But the

weather is great here today, and I am looking forward to taking my

dog for a nice long walk. That always helps.

Thanks again for asking. I hope that you and your husband come to

the right decision regarding your explant and your health. It seems

that some women an handle the implants, and others of us can't.

Even though I am not yet well, I still believe it was that my

illness began because I had those foreign bodies in me for so long,

and my only hope of recovery was to get them out. The effort now is

to try to normalize and strengthen my immune system - and logically

I know Prednisone is only going to hurt my efforts to date.

Bless you for your upbeat personality and positive outlook.
