Guest guest
hey all, i have a question. my explant surgery was 2 wks ago this past thursday. dr. kolb told me at my follow up appt.on the 5th that if i had any burning in my chest that i'd need to take an antibiotic as that would indicate an infection. well i don't think i have any of that but i've noticed that my incisons are still rather sore and do burn and tingle a bit.i was thinking that the sports bras i've veen wearing might be irritiating them since they are quite snug but comfortable.my memory is so bad i can't remember if my incisions have been this sore since surgery or if they were getting better then seemed more sore the last couple of days. i want to say that they have gotten more sore over the last couple of days. i've been using the peroxide and ointment just like i'm supposed to. the incisions don't look unusually red or otherwise any different than they have been. they look like they're healing okay so maybe it's nothing but they sure have gotten more uncomfortable the last few days.is this normal? i had been a little ill with some kind of bug going around and my joints have now gotten more achy again too. maybe stress is making it seem worse. we just found out last week that my husband's mother has been diagnosed with alzheimer's disease and we're both close to her so it has left us rather sad.i sure don't want to have to take antibiotics again.
