Guest guest
Hi Kathy and Kenda - we had talked last week about testing estrogen levels, and I purchased a saliva kit from the health store, which I am supposed to send out for testing for $150. Before I did that, I called my gyn back and she said she would send me a script for blood testing. Is one better than the other? The blood test would be easier because insurance would pay for the whole thing. I think you might have been right about the hormone thing, Kathy and Kenda, because I actually haven't felt like being touched - AT ALL!! and I think that might also be a symptom of perimenopause. My poor husband, not only to deal with my constant pain, but now this. He's a keeper, that's for sure! Thanks, Cherie
Guest guest
Hi Cherie, Dr. Leu prefers saliva testing and believes it is more accurate. I never questioned about it, I just go along with it. What is the company that handles the saliva test you bought? I'd want to be sure it was a good, reputable company before spending $150.
