You are right about your chiro, after going for so long, your frequency

should be decreasing, not the other way around. I had the same problem with

my previous chiro. I really think he was after money, rather than my

health. My muscles became so loose from being adjusted so often that I

couldn't hold an adjustment for an hour when I finally changed chiros.

I know MRI's aren't good for you but they aren't as toxic as x-rays. I read

something recently that had things to do to counter the effects of an MRI

but I don't remember what or where it was. :( Have you done a Google

search?

Sis,

By all means ask your doctor to prescribe physical

therapy for you.

A good therapist will do an evaluation and determine

where your muscle weaknesses are and give you

exercises to overcome them. Watch out for therapists

that want to strengthen one arm or one leg - unless

that's what you need.

Other alternatives are to join a yoga class, a water

aerobics class, or a non-impact exercise class. . .

Before joining one of these classes, observe one of

their sessions, or negotiate to take one or two

classes first. . . Some instructors are much better

than others - Some instructors are are flat dangerous

when they push you to do things you aren't ready for.

If you are self-motivated, there are plenty of good

tapes and books that can help. . . But finding the

time if it's self-scheduled can be a problem (I'm

speaking for myself!)

Hugs,

Rogene

Sis, I agree. My chiro encourages me not to come when I don't feel like I

have to. He has helped me more than any other. Receiving an adjustment too

often can stretch muscles and create additional problems. I had prolo

therapy to tighten up muscle my previous chiro stretched out. You

definitely don't want to go that route -- lots and lots of needles!

Early on, I had a chiropractor who I found was trying

to plant suggestions that I would need his services

forever! . . . I couldn't get out of there fast

enough!

There are scumbags in every profession!
