Guest guest
Cosima, If you can pull something on over your head, you should be OK with a regular sports bra . . . The front closure is for those who can't lift their arms. . . . I would be careful raising my arms though anyway! Do it slowly and gently! Snug is tight enough to support you, but not so tight that it cuts into your skin or is uncomfortable. And, you especially don't want the seam to press on your incisions. Guest guest
rogene, at the risk of sounding like an idiot, what do you mean by support? I don't have anything to support. the seam is snug and the bra itself doesn't feel loose but i'm not sure how tight the part that goes across my breasts should be. i'm thinking that if the bra isn't tight against the actual breast area, then it's not enough pressure.do you mean gentle pressure? i just find that most sports bras aren't that snug over the breast area. sorry to sound so confused over something that should be simple. i took the paper tape off my incisons today because the doctor said to after a couple of days and i started applying the peroxide and bactroban ointment. i put folded up kleenex under the seam under each breast so i wouldn't get the bra dirty. later on tonight, i discovered that one end of the incison under the left breast was oozing some blood. i'm thinking that wouldn't have happened if i had enough pressure from my bra on it. of course when i pulled the tape off earlier it had started bleeding some to begin with so maybe that wasn't it. > > Cosima, > > If you can pull something on over your head, you > should be OK with a regular sports bra . . .
