Guest guest
Tim, Did you notice that "suicide attempt" is by far the most frequently mentioned adverse side effect to Prozac? Pretty good back up for the message PROZAC KILLS! don't you think? Now, there's a message I hope you can work your magic on. And, although current figures aren't necessarily important for this attack, they will be important in a court of law. We are going to move beyond this first strike, ya know? This report establishes the pattern, such as .. you are just as likely to get seriously depressed from Prozac as you are to get a headache from it. > > Also, we just need to know the sales figures for 1996 and today. The nbr of reaction cases will have risen equally to the sales. And one thing I have learned from all these posts over the last few months is that most people don't blame the drugs for the way they feel, which means the adverse reactions are far greater than anyone realizes. Maybe we should tell someone, LOL. > > > > Tim > > > >--------------------------------- >

Guest guest
Hi all, Brain back enough for the time being to respond to this one. Don't know if you guys already know that if each person requested a different particular year's ADE's for Prozac through the Freedom of Information Act, you could get all the reports following the gleaned numbers from the years cited in the FDA info you're talking about. That would bring you up to date. Another VERY important piece of info to get via the Freedom of Information Act is the Summary Basis of Approval. It shows an overview of how the drug got past the FDA in the first place. We got it for the Wellbutrin and it is full of massive holes, black outs and problems that were overlooked. It's a pain in the behind to have to call and request these things and takes a bit of time, but they will send them - one per household. Then, there's going through all the numbers, outcomes, etc., to get your stats - lots of work...Go to the FDA site and it gives the info on how to obtain them...just a thought for ammo down the line... Best to All, hoping to be back in the " thick " of things soon - you guys are doing an awesome job- Collissa >
Guest guest
Collissa, Thanks for this - I didn't have a clue as to how to obtain this, and I spent a couple of hours looking through the CDER site.. I finally called them yesterday, but no one has returned my call. I wonder if my name rang a certain familiarity to them - hmmmmm??? I really would like you to send my your address. I have something for you that can only be delivered via US mail. Please send to my private email address. I want to know if this may be what you have been looking for, but it is a surprise... Have a very Merry Christmas! The Avenging Angel Please sign the petiton at http://www.petitiononline.com/lilpro >From: "collissa" >Reply-SSRI medications >SSRI medications >Subject: Re: FDA Reports >Date: Wed, 19 Dec 2001 07:17:52 -0000 > Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. Guest guest
Was just looking at the FDA website regarding implants, and took a look at the slides for Mentor's latest silicone implants (in the FDA slides section). Found it interesting that there were people complaining of joint pain, fatigue and hand numbness. However, when we complain of these problems to our plastic surgeons, we're told it's not likely. Maybe I don't know how to read the slides, but it looks like the numbers are as high as 8% of those studied complaining of these problems. Perhaps their excuse is that it would have happened anyway. http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfAdvisory/details.cf m?mtg=593 I looked at Inamed's slides and they didn't even " go there " when it came to this type of complaint.
