Guest guest
Well, here's one that'll get ya.. after regular business hours, the folks in the town where I work at the Sheriff's Office are told to call the local Police Department for a power outage. We (the Sheriff's Office Dispatchers) answer the PD line. We then page out the municipal workers to cover the outtage. And you'd be suprised, folks usually won't report an outtage for quite some time. I've had calls from people saying " our power has been out for 2 hours, do you know when it'll be back on? " I have to tell them no one has reported it yet, so we weren't even aware of the outtage, but I'll page someone out. Jenni www. Jen911.com ICQ: 10336819 Jenni, Hmmmm so you have agencies with in your town that actually go out and repair the power??? In our case we have NOTHING to do with the power grid. The only thing we can do is call the power company. They are a total seperate from us and cover a large part of NH. doug ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
