Guest guest
Hi GT! It's great to hear from you again! . . . How's Vegas? I'm gald to hear you're doing better . . and yes, I do believe the sauna circulates the toxins, but in a good way. Read " Clear Mind, Clear Body " . L. Ron Hubbard. . . Old book, I can't subscribe to his religious beliefs, but I figure everyone is entitled to one good idea. His program has gotten excellent results! We've probably added a number of healing therapies to the archives since you've been here . . . Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi GT! It is good to hear from you. I wondered where you were and if you got moved to Las Vegas. I see you made it. I am planning a get together with a few local ladies sometime. If you want to join us, you are invited! Just let me know. This cycle of good days and bad days is classic for autoimmune disease and our type of illness. It is just the way things work. You will very likely experience this to a lesser and lesser degree as you heal until you finally get to a point of feeling normal most of the time. At least, that was the way it worked for me. It sounds like you are doing alot of good things for yourself! Curezone.com has alot of great information regarding liver flushes. www.sensiblehealth.com is another great website that discusses the benefits of the liver and gallbladder flush. I believe that quite a few of us, (Rogene, Kathy and I that I can think of offhand), have done the liver flushes and found them to be quite beneficial. And I am probably the coffee enema queen. (Not a name I wish to be known by, however!) I have done hundreds of these things, and have done lots of research regarding them as well. I know there is conflicting information, but all I can suggest is that you try them for yourself and see how they make you feel. I hope it gives you some confidence to know that I've done them now for years and have had no bad side effects whatsoever, and in fact, have felt that they've helped my body to be healthier all around. My husband has done them nearly every day and he is also in great health. I have information about Beth Lakey, but I will share that later. She is a patient of Dr. Kolb's. She will be joining us again soon! She is in a position of taking a break at the moment. : ) Let me know if you want to get together sometime! I live in Anthem. Guest guest
HI, I finally have a chance to read email tonight, thanks for responding. I am still in Arizona and have not yet made it to Vegas although I drive in now and then with a friend to relax and have fun. Thanks for the invite... I will let you know how I do with the liver and colon cleanses after I do several. For anyone who reads this I want to say that I have been very sick for over 3 years now and made very slow progress in healing. I have spent alot of money on supplements that may or may not have helped it is hard to say when you also have a time factor you are dealing with. My nutrition has also been excellent I watch what I eat alot. I truly believe that the far infrared sauna has helped me more than anything I have done ( along with a diet rich in vegetables). It is hard to do at first but I worked up to one hour over a period of time. I bought a chinese sauna and it is beautiful; I think it cost a third of what the most popular sauna goes for. I investigated the infrared units and they are excellent. Just hope this helps someone.. I think I probably wasted alot of money on unnecessary supplements and dosages of suppplements that may not have been correct. GTglory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: Hi GT! Guest guest
HI GT! Thanks for checking in with us. I will be anxious to hear about your liver flush results. When do you plan on doing one? That's great about the infrared sauna helping you so much! I am going to start using mine more too. By the way, what is a chinese sauna? Where did you get it? I agree about the supplements. It is very hard to determine exactly what you need sometimes, and whether what you are taking is working well or not. Even though I also feel that I wasted money on some supplements, at the same time, I felt that at least I was taking something that was supposed to be good for my body, rather than drugs or something that could really be damaging to it. Hope to meet up with you sometime! Guest guest
Hi! I had to chime in here on the use of supplements. I take many, many per day, at the direction of my ND. It would be impossible for me to ever know where to begin in choosing supplements without lab tests and his interpretation. I hate to see someone not take supplements because they don't seem to help. They may not help because they aren't appropriate for that person. Lab testing and a bit of time spent with an ND would clarify this. Kenda > I agree about the supplements. Are you seeing any results? I would like to know. THanks Kathy -- In , Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote: > > Hi! > > I had to chime in here on the use of supplements. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I'll be on it a total of two months, this was the beginning of my second week. At first I felt very sick to my stomach and my gland in one side of my neck was very swollen, then both glands were swollen. The swollen gland lasted for about 10 days. Dr. Leu was pretty surprised because my diet is good and I exercise regularly. I have been swollen gland free for two days. Now it's time to increase the dose. I have a steam shower but my bathroom has been gutted for six months due to a water leak. It should be back together next week so I'm looking forward to being able to steam again. I know the steam will help me sweat this crap out. I have noticed that when I sweat at the gym, it is stinkier than usual. I also sweat more easily. Guest guest
- So you won't know how much improvement it brings for awhile. Right? Did Dr. Leu feel his cleanse was beneficial? He completed his already didn't he? I am thinking it is time to do another liver cleanse--but the thought of the olive oil and grapefruit and epsom salts is somehow just a tiny deterrent!! I did get marvelous results the last time though, so I just have to make myself go for it! Guest guest
Right, it will be another 6 weeks before I have completed it and left with the new me. It takes longer than a quick olive oil cleanse but I would think it is much deeper too. Dr. Leu did one too a couple of years ago and said he noticed a big difference. Guest guest
Kenda, I think that's why I haven't taken anything at all since explant, because I really need guidance in that department. My body's so screwed up, I was worried that I'd screw it up even more, so instead I did nothing (which in turn did nothing!!). My appointment with Dr. Leu is coming up on 2/15, so hopefully he can help get me on track. Guest guest
Hi Sis, I agree. Until you know what's up with your body and have an understanding of it, it would be impossible to supplement appropriately. I would never have dreamed that I could be so deficient in B vitamins because I eat a really clean, balanced diet. Lab work is essential to supplement according to our own body's needs. We are all so very different. We all need detoxing and proper fuel, but beyond that, who knows! I think you'll be pleased with Dr. Leu. He's very thorough and has a deep knowledge and understanding of the body and illness. All of the people I have sent to him have been very happy with their results. One woman I sent had all kinds of things wrong with her, I didn't even know the half of it because it was coming from her husband, who was our architect for our house. He was telling me how sick she was and couldn't even get out of bed. Our architect has thanked me nearly every time he sees me because his wife is well again! She had " Chron's Disease " and was quite ill at one time. Kenda > Kenda, I think that's why I haven't taken anything at all since > explant, because I really need guidance in that department. Guest guest
Hello, A Chinese sauna is simply a sauna made in china. They are significantly less expensive because of the labor costs. I was concerned about the quality but spoke with someone at Saunagen in the United States. My sauna is not only beautiful it works great. I purchase a corner unit with glass doors and windows it makes the little extra room I have look good also. Saunagen infrared saunas are sold on the internet by various people. I even think there is a lady on ebay who sells them at a great price. She was selling them in September when I purchased my sauna. Oh, and about the supplements. I am a firm believer in a good probiotic, multi vitamin/mineral, alpha lipoic acid and acetyl L carnitine and chlorophyll of some kind. I think I just bought too many things that I read about at first when I could have just been eating lots of garlic, vitamin C rich vegetables and fruit etc. I am very careful about what I eat these days and try to eat nutrient rich foods and I juice vegetables at least 5 days a week. If I stop like I did over the Holidays and eat junk I notice the difference. I like Bernard Jensens books. GTglory2glory1401 <glory2glory1401@...> wrote: HI GT! > > > GT > Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with .
