Guest guest
Kathie Please don't be scared and angry--those emotions can only harm your health. It is important to generate positive emotions for healing. Emotions definitely affect our level of health. You have to do what is right for you. There will always be women who will argue with you about this issue. You can't let them determine what you decide in your heart is right for you. I am so glad I was explanted and I feel it has made a tremendous difference in my health. But my sister who is a pharmacist has argued with me until she was blue in the face that studies prove that implants don't harm women and I am sadly mistaken. Nothing is going to change her mind. Many people have closed minds about alot of things. All we can do is try to get people to see what we see to try and save others from making our mistakes. But if they choose to think that implants are ok and we are nuts for thinking otherwise, that is their problem. I think it is impacting you negatively to be debating this with that group. And their opinions may make you feel less secure about yours. Listen to what your intuition is telling you, and then keep a firm hold on that. I am praying that you will feel more peace and direction with your situation. Guest guest
Kathie, s this email ring on the internet anywhere? If so, I may jump in and offer some help. I think Kathy gave you some great advice about how to handle this, and yet at the same time I know that we have to fight ignorance in this country about how the health industry works. I think many people are looking at life through rose colored glasses. Things just aren't what they seem, but when you start to think about how capitalism works, how natural products can't be patented, how drugs and synthetic supplements are, how businesses will do EVERYTHING they can to protect their bottom line, and how the goal of all business is to make profits, and then when you start connecting the dots and drawing the lines between pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, Congressmen, the organizations that " promote and protect " certain subgroups, the magazines, television, radio, newspapers and all the other media, you begin to see how it all works. You gotta follow the money! Once you see how that works, it all makes sense. Nobody is going to do anything to cut their bottom line, and that means they aren't going to say anything bad about those with deep pockets, no matter how bad they actually are. And of course, the deep pockets can afford the best public relations experts to make them look sterling when they stink. Just don't let all of this get to you! I remember when I realized the truth about implants and all the rest that followed, I was on a mission to try to educate other people. I thought for sure they would want to know this valuable info! In actuality, most people would rather stick their heads in the sand than face reality. Reality is just too ugly sometimes. I had to realize that for some people, yes, ignorance is bliss and let it go. Guest guest
Kathie, These organizations receive funds from the manufacturers and plastic surgeons! . . . They won't blame implants! If I remember right, one of the organizations was formed at the instigation of the manufacturers. You needn't be scared! . . . I would guess that between Patty, Lynda, Ilena, Lea and myself, we've communicated with over 10,000 women who have gotten sick from implants. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever your implants are at the root of your health problems! I know the others would say the same thing. My concern is that getting stressed and angry is more detremental to your health than you can imagine. . . Please concentrate on getting your implants out and getting well. Getting angry, blaming anyone, or stressing over the removal is extremely counterproductive. You must focus on health! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
