Hi Stef,

Our DAN doctor has us rotate low reaction foods on a 7 day cycle.

This is to reduce inflammation and hopefully not allow the reaction to

get worse.

depends on how low you are talking about 1's we rotate UNLESS they keep showing up on repeat testing, and 2's and 3's are pulled

I went a step past this even because it's not really the foods, it's

the body. It's the immune system reacting. So it made sense to me

to take everything away that could be a problem. I took my son

down to 20 of the safest foods he could have and even rotated these

also.

After 18 months or so I could bring in more variety without him

reacting. In addition to removing, I also worked on food

combining for digestion.

I no longer rotate to the degree that I used to. We get a new IGG

lab back in a few weeks and I'll let you know what comes from this.

People always say to me how hard this all must have been. I reply

autism is harder. My advice yes remove foods the child is reacting

to. We need to do things that bring immune function back into

balance and diet will be a large key to this.

this may be a dumb question but what by rotation, do you mean making

sure these foods are 1 once a week as suppose to 3 days in a row???
