My 11 yr old son weighs about 110 pounds and gets 400 mgs of fluconazole once per day.

Subject: Dosing Diflucan/Fluconazole HelpTo: mb12 valtrex Date: Saturday, December 20, 2008, 9:59 AM

We are wondering if our 7 year old, 53 lb. son is getting a low or an accurate dose of Diflucan (it's actually Fluconazole, which is the same thing). He gets 40 mg 2 times a day. We know is yeast is way out of whack, so is this a time when more is better? Would it be a good idea to double the dose to 80 mg 2 times a day?

I will not hold anyone responsible for this advice, as I hold myself responsible for my son's health. I am just looking for someone who has a child my son's age & size to share their dose of Diflucan & if it's working for them.

Thanks in advance.

My son is 3 and weight 38 lbs. His best dose is 50mg 3 times a day.

If we go with less we can see the yeast creep back in. I hate yeast!
