Dang Kenda, that means i'd never get to exercise because i'm always

coming down with whatever is going around and something is always

going around.

Hey Kenda, that makes sense. I'm not sure where I'm at in the

equation, maybe Dr. Leu will be able to help me figure it out. I'm

not sure if I should be going for brief walks to stimulate the

lymphatic system, or if I should still be taking it easy. Seems

like when I walk I get tired easily, but wasn't sure if I should be

trying to slowly build myself back up or not. Do you know if that

includes things like yoga, or light stretching?

I feel like I am to the point where I can at least go for short

walks and do very light exercise - nothing strenuous. A few months

ago I had no energy at all, and couldn't have imagined doing

anything - but I've put my 10 lbs back on that I lost, and I do feel

more energetic lately. Joints are still bothering me, but I feel

like I could at least try some short walks - if I feel poorly after

trying that, then I'll know it was too much. My counselor said the

reason why I probably fell twice in four months time was because my

muscles were so weak, they couldn't support my body. The blood

pressure has stayed down, after spiking to 140/98 while I had

implants (before that it was 110/60). Today I checked it in the

pharmacy and it was 105/65.

Hi Kenda,

I've definitely always been a bit fragile physically, so I've

avoided aggressive workouts because generally I'd end up hurting

myself. However, I always walked for exercise, so I think I can

start out going around the block and just keep increasing it as I

feel up to it. Thanks for your suggestions.

You are reminding me of a few years ago when I went into Toys R Us

looking for one of those large exercise balls and couldn't find

them. The man in the store asked if he could help me and I asked

him (very innocently) if he had big balls. It sounded so funny that

we couldn't help but laugh - and I turned ten shades of red!

Oh Cherie, I wish you could hear the belly laugh that story evoked

in me! That is so darn funny!!! It reminds me of when I ran into a

guy I knew for years, and he said he had a house with a deck that

ran the length of the back of the house, and that I should stop by

to see it sometime. I in turn said " oh, I'd love to come by and see

your big deck " . As soon as I said it we both froze and

said " uhhhh " .
