Guest guest
rogene mentioned in her response to me that if i was considering legal action, my implants needed to be sent from the hospital to dr. blais, w/o be " contaminating " them.....i would be fascinated to know what they're growing, so i would know better how to get well...i also never thought that i would have a legal recourse, since my silicone implants were due to reconstruction.....anyway, are law suits still being created, or are most that are discussed about from an earlier time? thanks ladies for the information..... blessings, kathie
Guest guest
Kathie, I know of only one law suit underway right now . . . But that doesn't mean there aren't more. . . They are usually kept very quiet! There is the possibility of future legal action. The " Informed Consent " you signed was really just a way of absolving the manufacturer's and doctors from all liability while not telling you what you needed to know! Dr. Blais' address and shipping instructions are in the archives. The cost varies, depending on the degree of examination you wish. You can ship them before making the decision. I agree that knowing what bugs are in your implants could be beneficial in getting well. . . Shari was able to get her insurance company to pay following her explant on the basis of Dr. Blais' report. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Kathie, If you'll send me a private message, I may be able to help you find some direction legal-wise. I spoke to someone this evening who says it's possible. Hugs, Rogene
