Guest guest
hi, we've seen black flecks in my daughter's bm's recently. we had recently increased her dose of valtrex. the flecks reminded me of little bits of oregano or something. hopeful that this is die off of some sort, either yeast, viral or parasitic. > > Subject: Black flecks discussed here? > To: mb12 valtrex > Date: Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 9:11 PM > Hi, I was wondering if this list is where the black flecks > issue was > discussed. > If so, please let me know... > > -- > Warmest Regards, > Robin Little

Guest guest
I spoke with Dr. Mumpher (she calls herself the Poop Dr.) at the 2008 Fall DAN Conference in length regarding this and she said it is yeast or bacterial die off. Guest guest
If you read through Dr. Krigsmans presentations be does say he has no idea but will not stop trying to figure it out. I'll have to ask him on our next phone consult.Since treating my sons GI issues we do not get this that much anymore; however, the last time this happened to him it was right before getting sick.Laureen I spoke with Dr. Mumpher (she calls herself the Poop Dr.) at the 2008 Fall DAN Conference in length regarding this and she said it is yeast or bacterial die off. They are a result of yeast die off and are a good thing. It's the crud being cleaned out of the intestinal walls after it dies. Keep up doin what you're doin. Guest guest
Well what I'm doin' ;-)) is I was taking Iodoral, 100 mgs per day, or 8 tabs. When I first started this regimen, I had the first sighting of the black flecks since Florida, (when I " acquired " them), and felt so much better. Then after a while of doing this, they went away, and I forgot about it. Then recently I ran out of the tabs and started taking the same amount (100 mgs, 16 drops) of Lugol's in water. That is when the flecks came back again, and I felt the same feelings of " relief " or " lightness " . It really is a good feeling. Well-being, maybe describes it. It seems that maybe changing up every once in a while is helpful.(?)-- Warmest Regards,Robin Little Yes, black flecks were discussed here. They are a result of yeast die off and are a good thing.
