Guest guest
That's so funny about the pics! What's even funnier is the fact that I no longer have them here!!! My computer was crashing and I deleted all the photos off my hard drive to get them onto a disk and now the disk doesn't work! I am sick about it. I had 2 years worth of digital photos on that disk and they are all gone unless I can find someone that can figure out why it is no longer working. It did work fine for a long time and it's not scratched or anything. I am so upset! I thought I had lost all our Sun Valley pics and then found the 2 disks you and sent me -shew! Anyways, life is so good for me right now. Well, not really, but with God it is! I'm almost divorced - we can file next month and I think it goes pretty quick. He is getting re-married already - to a woman he met 2 or 3 months ago! I am dating - so far just one person, but there are others who are interested - one is a very successful real-estate agent that I've known almost all my life. I never thought he would be interested in me! I never thought I was " good " enough to be with a really nice, successful man. I'm feeling so much better about myself now. I just went through a few months of counseling to make sure I was on the right track and the last thing she said to me was that she didn't think I needed her anymore! She said that the difference from when I saw her 2 years ago to now was amazing. She reminded me that I came to her with my head down, slumped over, in pain and constantly crying. Now I walk with my head up and WITHOUT PAIN!!!! I still cry because I am just a very emotional person, but it's not because I'm in pain or depressed. Patty, I just don't even know what to say. I am so glad I got those nasty brown moldy implants out of me and got on the road to healing. I never would have been able to do that without this group and your support along with all the others who helped me along the way. I wish I had several hours a day to check the web and post messages like I used to, but you know what? I'm much happier working FULL-TIME, exercising 6 days a week, shopping, driving my kids everywhere, going to church, you name it, I do it. I do not turn down anything! I even almost jumped out of a plane a few months ago. If we had gotten our group together, I would have done it. I may do it this summer and I'll be sure to let you know how it went! I turned 40 a few months ago and thanked God that he brought me through all I went through and for the fact that he has healed me so completely. I feel like I am 16 again!!!!! I am working at my church full-time doing the advertising and graphic designs. Something I never even knew I could do. God has provided for me in so many ways. I just re-financed my house so that I can continue to put my daughter through nursing school. My grandson will be 3 next month and the two of them still live with me along with my 16 year old son and my 8 year old. Boy I'm just rambling on and on!!! I've really got to get back to work! I just wanted to give you a quick update and if anyone wants to write me, use my nannapam37@... e-mail. I check that one every day. By the way, has Cricket been on? I think about her often. I would so love to go to Sun Valley again. I'm up for it if anyone else is. I'll even help someone again if they want to go - hint hint Shari!! One final note...Jessie is one of the girls in the teenage mom group that I started at my church 3 years ago (that I'm finally back to being involved in and is leading to my church building a girls' home on our property!!! WOO HOO!!!). I am finding that these girls have such low self esteem and really need help. They are teenage moms for a reason! She wants implants even after hearing all my horror stories. She thinks they will make her feel better about herself. I told her that I've never felt better about me and my body than I do now - WITHOUT implants! I hope she'll change her mind - only time will tell. Love ya!! Pam > > > > Patty, a college student, Jessie has questions about new and > improved > > implants. Guest guest
Pam, Your message was very inspirational and provided alot of hope to me, because I was explanted 3 months ago and still not feeling well. When I see messages like yours, I feel hopeful that my body will eventually return to good health and I can once again lead a normal life. I'm happy to hear that things are going well in your life. Thanks, Sis > > > > > > Patty, a college student, Jessie has questions about new and > > improved > > > implants. Guest guest
Sis, I got worse for a while after being explanted in Dec. 2003 - in fact, March 2004 I applied for Social Security Disability. By the following year- April 2005, I started working part time and 5 months after that full-time. Healing can be slow, but it will come! Guest guest
Pam, It's thrilling to know you are doing so well! . . . I hope you'll continue dropping in from time to time. Your testimony is so encouraging to women who are coming to the group, sick and wondering if having their implants removed will make any difference. . . After all the plastic surgeons (in their God-like personnas) tell them their implants aren't the problem! I know the work you're doing is extremely rewarding! . .. . You're making a huge difference in the lives of so many women - and their children! God Bless, Rogene
