Guest guest
Hi I am sorry to hear about your wait for the doctor appointment, but glad you are here. I was told by one of the docs I was seeing at the time that I also had costachondritis, but further testing by nuclear bone scan and CT scan showed intense inflammation and arthritic-sclerotic changes in my sternoclavicular joint. I also had terrible pain in between my shoulder blades and neck. I think it is from the implants too. I was explanted in October, and am not better yet, but just started treatment with an ND recommended by Kenda on this site, so I am hopeful. Where do you live? Depending on where you are, maybe someone here can recommend a doc that is closer and can understand the need to see you sooner. I can understand your nervousness. I think one of the biggest steps is deciding you need the explant. For me, once I made that decision, it just couldn't happen quick enough. I felt like I had these toxic bags inside my body that were slowly killing me. But the fact is that they were there for 8 and 1/2 years, and the few weeks I had to wait were really not going to have that much more of an impact on my physical health. So hang in there and know that you are not alone, and we all want to help you any way we can. Hugs, Cherie > > I posted a few weeks back looking for a surgeon to do the > explant. Guest guest
, Please hang in there . . . there's aways a chance there will be a cancelation . . . and, if you'll start some healthy eating and detoxing programs now, you should bounce back faster after explant. I recently started taking a product known for pulling toxins and heavy metals out of the body . . . Do a web search for " Natural Cellular Defense " . . . It's extremely safe - inexpensive in comparison to many alternatives. Their website is www.waioria.com - but info from other websites is more detailed. You can get a significant discount if you have a referral. Let me know if you want to use me. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
- Hi rachel While you are waiting for your appointment, you can be working on getting your body healthier. I just finished reading Jordan Rubin's newest book The Great Physician's RX for health. It is very good and discusses a seven point plan for rebuilding health. Of course, while you have the implants, regaining health will be much slower, but doing these things will help you now and even more after explant as you will be ahead of the game. I doubt that if your doctor does do more testing that they will find anything that will be helpful for you. It appears to be the rule, rather than the exception that most women who get doctors opinions or testing done, end up finding out very little useful to them in the way of what is wrong. In fact, we are told routinely that it is stress, or fibromyalgia and are practically always told that our implants are not the cause. The symptoms you are experiencing sound similar to many women who have gotten sick from implants and I would try not to panic over them. Many of these conditions are actually in the muscle or tendons and while extremely painful, are not serious. Hang in there and perhaps you will be able to get in sooner to see your ps. In the meantime, we will be here to listen and support you!
