Guest guest
Hi , I just googled pain specialists in Hot Springs and found three on this website: http://www.healthgrades.com/local-doctors-directory/by-specialty/pain-medicine/a\ rkansas-ar/hot-springs-pain-medicine-doctors One of these might be the guy you are seeing now. But look at them and see if you can get into one of the other two or both of them for a consult. Make the appts. for the same day, a couple of hours apart, so you can do them both on one trip, then make your choice based on the consultation you have with them. Don't forget they work for YOU. You or your insurance PAYS them to help you. You have every right to interview them and find out what kind of care you will get from them. Remember to go loaded with information and a list of questions. Ask them if they can provide the care you need. Express to them you are NOT a drug seeker, other than to treat your chronic pain and ask if they can adequately treat your pain. Then we'll go from there. I'll help you the best I can from across the miles. Please consider setting up a consultation with each of these docs. Let us know how things go. Hugs, Tommie live in Arkansas I live in a rural area, this small area reminds me of a ghost town.I havet to drive 66 miles one way to hot springs in order to find a dr.Lately i cant drive due to passing out.Im alone except nights when my husband is home but he suffers from siezers and i so worry he will get hurt at work[blue color job].Sawmill work.My dr made me sign a pain contract,i tried to tell him that the tylanol-3 was keeping me very sick and dizzy. He said i wont give you any thing else.I told him my pain was almost a 10 by supper every night and i was having cold chills and fever all at the same time and vomiting.he had the nurse get me to sign pain cantract and i left the office only to cry the 40 miles back home cause i was in such pain.He refused to explain to me why i was getting so sick every night.seems theres no solution left for me any more,i have really been through so many drs.susan
